In addition to scholarships, we are creating ways for schools to encourage and reward kindness and goodness among students. First off, a frequent recognition to students through schools. The intent is for students and faculty to recognize other students for exhibiting signs of kindness and goodness. The other initiative is to create a best practice approach for welcoming new students to a school, following the example that John Berrigan set at his school. As these initiatives are developed and implemented in local schools where John attended, templates will then be developed to be shared broadly with other schools in other communities, creating more positive impact through kindness and joy!
