LiveLikeJohnBerrigan is being created in honor of John Joseph Berrigan. He lived a life full of immense curiosity, kindness and joy. The primary purpose of the foundation is to share broadly with others how and why John lived his life to keep his legacy alive and continue to create positive impact on people, communities, and culture.

He left us too soon. While we will miss him terribly; we have chosen to focus on his amazing life and develop ways to extend his contagious laughter, smile and kindness to all who knew and love him and to people he has yet to meet, but will meet through the mission of the LLJBF.

John was a friend to all. He was the first kid to welcome new students. He welcomed new kids into his friend group. He encouraged fellow students in sports, academics, community service, social involvement and fellowship. When he saw a kid who seemed down, he approached them to cheer them up. John wanted to make everyone he encountered know that they mattered, and he did so by being kind and considerate. He consistently and continuously put other people’s needs above his own.

LiveLikeJohnBerrigan Foundation is being formed to provide a dynamic platform that ultimately equips, inspires, empowers and rewards people for living a life of kindness, like John did.
